Stirner Club

The Stirner Club is a student association founded in Zurich in 2025. Inspired by the thought of the German philosopher Max Stirner, the club aims to disseminate his ideas on the individual, property and freedom, especially among students, by organizing conferences, seminar readings and debates. In order to emphasize the depth of Stirner's thought, the association not only deals with him, but also with authors who have developed a similar world view in their writings, such as Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger, Jacques Derrida, Alice Ceresa, the Marquis de Sade, Hans-Hermann Hoppe, etc. The association thus aims to conduct a study of Stirner's individualistic spirit, which can analyze all the possibilities of a new, postmodern conception of freedom, by following an interdisciplinary methodology that links philosophy with literature, economics and politics.
